Visita Irlanda, setembre 2026

This September, we welcomed our Irish partners from St Aidan’s Comprehensive School.
We had a lot of fun taking part in many activities related to our culture, gastronomy and
traditions.
The Erasmus students had the opportunity to visit the Roman ruins of Tarraco, explore the
old town and immerse themselves in our local festival, Santa Tecla, where they discovered
different traditional figures and the historic human towers. They also went for a walk in Bosc
de la Marquesa, explored the beaches and had the chance to take part in some water
activities at Club Nàutic. Besides, they enjoyed cooperative games and a flamenco session,
during which they laughed a lot!
Apart from all these activities, the students also learned a lot through different activities
related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that we carried out together. Through
these activities, they learned about well-being, quality education and cooperation.
We are sure they really enjoyed their stay in Tarragona, as they were completely immersed
in our culture and traditions. We are already looking forward to visiting them in Ireland in
March!

Aquest setembre hem donat la benvinguda als nostres socis irlandesos de St Aidan’s
Comprehensive School. Ens ho hem passat molt bé realitzant moltes activitats
relacionades amb la nostra cultura, gastronomia i tradicions.
Els estudiants Erasmus han tingut l’oportunitat de visitar les restes romanes de Tarraco,
explorar el casc antic i gaudir de la nostra festa local, Santa Tecla, on han descobert
diferents figures tradicionals i els històrics castells. També han fet una passeig pel Bosc de
la Marquesa, han explorat les platges i han tingut l’oportunitat de participar en les activitats
aquàtiques al Club Nàutic. A més, han fet de jocs cooperatius i han gaudit d’una sessió de
flamenc, durant la qual han rigut molt!
A banda de totes aquestes activitats, els estudiants també han après molt a través de
diferents activitats relacionades amb els Objectius de Desenvolupament Sostenible (ODS)
que hem dut a terme conjuntament. Mitjançant aquestes activitats, han après sobre el
benestar, l’educació de qualitat i la cooperació.
Estem segurs que han gaudit molt de la seva estada a Tarragona, ja que s’han immergit

completament en la nostra cultura i les nostres tradicions. Ja tenim moltes ganes de visitar-
los a Irlanda aquest març!
