Gävle, Suècia. 2025
At the end of January, the students of the first year of Batxillerat went on an exchange trip to Gävle (Sweden) to meet new partners from Borgarskolan. We had the opportunity to practice English, make new friends, and enjoy the lifestyle and gastronomy of this region of Sweden. We stayed in our hosts’ homes, where we got to experience firsthand how they live and what their daily routines are like.
During these days, we participated in activities at their school, Borgarskolan, focused on sustainability. We learned about their recycling system and how waste sorting is carried out. All the activities were framed within the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically the goals of sustainable cities and communities, health and well-being, climate action, and quality education, among others.
We really enjoyed experiencing an ice hockey match, visiting a recycling plant and the train museum, and enjoy great moments in nature and with the snow.
To sum up, it was a great experience that we definitely want to repeat. We are very happy with our new partners, with whom we hope to continue exchanging visits. We are now excitedly preparing for March, when we will welcome them to our home.

A finals de gener, l’alumnat de 1r de BAT ha anat d’intercanvi a Gävle (Suècia) per conèixer uns nous socis de l’institut Borgarskolan. Vam poder practicar l’anglès, fer noves amistats i gaudir de la vida i la gastronomia d’aquesta zona de Suècia. Ens vam allotjar a les cases dels nostres hosts, on vam poder conèixer de primera mà com viuen i quines són les seves rutines.
Durant aquests dies, vam estar fent activitats al seu institut, el Borgarskolan, sobre la sostenibilitat. Vam conèixer com reciclen i com es fa la recollida selectiva. Totes les activitats estan emmarcades en els ODS 2030, més específicament en els objectius de ciutats i comunitats sostenibles, salut i benestar, acció pel clima i educació de qualitat, entre d’altres.
Ens va agradar molt practicar i viure un partit d’hoquei sobre gel, visitar una planta de reciclatge i el museu de trens, així com gaudir de la natura i la neu.
En resum, va ser una gran experiència que, sense dubte, volem repetir, i estem molt contents dels nostres nous socis, amb qui esperem seguir fent intercanvis. Ara ja estem preparant amb il·lusió l’arribada del mes de març per rebre’ls a casa nostra.

A finales de enero, el alumnado de 1º de Bachillerato ha ido de intercambio a Gävle (Suecia) para conocer a unos nuevos socios del instituto Borgarskolan. Pudimos practicar inglés, hacer nuevas amistades y disfrutar de la vida y la gastronomía de esta zona de Suecia. Nos alojamos en las casas de nuestros anfitriones, donde pudimos conocer de primera mano cómo viven y cuáles son sus rutinas.
Durante estos días, estuvimos realizando actividades en su instituto, el Borgarskolan, sobre sostenibilidad. Conocimos cómo reciclan y cómo se lleva a cabo la recogida selectiva. Todas las actividades están enmarcadas en los ODS 2030, más específicamente en los objetivos de ciudades y comunidades sostenibles, salud y bienestar, acción por el clima y educación de calidad, entre otros.
Nos encantó practicar y vivir un partido de hockey sobre hielo, visitar una planta de reciclaje y el museo de trenes, así como disfrutar de la naturaleza y la nieve.
En resumen, fue una gran experiencia que, sin duda, queremos repetir, y estamos muy contentos con nuestros nuevos socios, con quienes esperamos seguir haciendo intercambios. Ahora ya estamos preparando con ilusión la llegada del mes de marzo para recibirlos en nuestra casa.
