Cootehill, Ireland March 2025
(ENG) An Unforgettable Experience in Ireland!
Our students embarked on an incredible journey to Cootehill (Ireland), where they were warmly welcomed by St. Aidan’s Comprehensive School. From the very beginning, they felt the hospitality and enthusiasm of their Irish hosts.
One of the highlights of the trip was celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, Ireland’s national holiday, experiencing firsthand the festive spirit and traditions of the country. They also had the chance to visit the Agriculture College, where they learned about innovative and sustainable farming methods used in Irish livestock farming.
Throughout their stay, they attended several classes at St. Aidan’s, immersing themselves in different aspects of Irish culture and education. They received a brief introduction to Irish history, participated in a cooking workshop where they baked traditional scones, and joined a physical education class, learning to play Gaelic football and hurling—two of Ireland’s most iconic sports. They also had great fun learning traditional Irish dances and even took a basic Irish language lesson!
Beyond the activities, the trip was an opportunity to build strong bonds between students and teachers from both schools. The atmosphere was fantastic, filled with learning, laughter, and cultural exchange.
We are now counting down the days to welcome our Irish friends to Tarragona in September, where we hope to offer them the same warmth and unforgettable experiences!

(ESP) ¡Una experiencia inolvidable!
(CAT) Una experiència inoblidable a Irlanda!
